Creature of the Night treads more in the traditional ways of former Diamond Falcon releases. With its fast paced sixteenth note pattern main riff and the soaring choir arrangement during the song's chorus, the song addresses the modern phenomenon of constant digital distraction.

The Lyrics are an homage and bow to Solid Sky, the band of Weazzel's vocal coach.
